a walk through the forest



these are mini-booklets of a snippet of my portfolio. there are 2 designs for the covers and they were cut from linoleum block and letter-pressed onto colored cardstock paper and they smell good like fresh letter-pressed ink. they're bound as one signature and stitched together with silver string that adds a little sparkle.

and the beginning...



this is the production lab that is my room floor. the first time i made the books, it took a while to figure out how it will all come together with the layouts and binding, but the 2nd time around, they were much easier and faster to produce. i think i'll be making a lot more books in the future

so the covers are original linocuts but the rest is printed?
